Hog Roast Sevenoaks Thrilled Guests With A Delightful Wedding Feast!

Hog Roast Sevenoaks After days upon days of miserable weather, the sun finally shone down on Kent last weekend, and no one was happier than Charlotte and her beau Graham! This besotted pair had been preparing for their wedding day for months, and to be able to enjoy their nuptials under clear blue skies was the cherry on top of what was an incredible day for them both!

The celebrations went ahead at a picture-perfect waterside barn close by, where the couple celebrated their love with 150 of their favourite people present. Their vows were exchanged beneath a beautiful oak gazebo, which looked out onto the crystal clear water. Meanwhile, Hog Roast Sevenoaks was busily preparing a sumptuous spread for the group!

Inside the 16th-century barn, our team worked tirelessly to cook up a formal feast for the guests. This mouth-watering meal began with five tasty canape options, which included gourmet sausages, roasted halloumi and tomato crostini, smoked Scottish salmon, chicken liver parfait and vegetarian mini quiche with a variety of fillings to choose from.

As the newlyweds and their guests filed into the warmly-lit space, our serving staff presented them with a glass of bubbly along with these yummy snacks, after which they were directed to their seats and served a bowl of our homemade soup with crusty bread rolls and butter.

For the main course, Hog Roast Sevenoaks served a choice of either whole-roasted free-range chicken with homemade sage and onion stuffing and chipolata sausages; whole-roasted sirloin of English beef brushed with mustard and served with Yorkshire puddings and a rich red wine gravy or grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers with sweet chilli sauce and a zesty tzatziki dip. Each main meal was accompanied by side salad options, homemade coleslaw and creamy dauphinoise potatoes.

Once everyone had polished off the lip-smacking main course, Hog Roast Sevenoaks’ serving staff replaced the empty plates with the guests’ choice of either vacherins of strawberries with passionfruit cream or sticky toffee pudding, which was followed up later in the evening with a slice of the couple’s wedding cake, served with fresh cream, mixed berries and a coulis of summer fruits.
