Hire Hog Roast Whitstable to cater for your charity fair this autumn!

Charity events come in many shapes and sizes and are a great way to raise money for a great cause. Whether you wish to host a formal ball, or a casual charity fair, Hog Roast Whitstable has a menu that is ideal for the occasion. Here is one of our buffet menus that is bound to go down a treat this autumn…

Lauren is the event’s organiser of a Kent-based charity that specialises in providing creative therapy options for children and young people. To raise money this September, she planned a charity fair which would include a number of stalls, games, activities, and catering options. The fair was planned with guests of all ages in mind and aimed to host stalls that would appeal to multiple guests, including face painting and balloons for younger children, and craft stalls for older guests. For the catering, our manager Matt was hired to provide a delicious hog roast for the guests to enjoy, serving enough for 250 customers to enjoy. Our slow-roast menu is ideal for this occasion, and we knew it would go down a treat.

Hog Roast Whitstable On the day of the fair, Matt and the Hog Roast Whitstable team arrived at the venue and got to work preparing our catering station. The fair was taking place on a large open field, and we prepared our station according to the map of stalls. For the menu, we served slow-roasted pork that was packed full of natural flavours and expertly carved by our chef. The meat was then served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For younger guests, we also served succulent sausages in buns with homemade chips. Our catering went down a treat and there was more than enough for every guest to enjoy, making us a great addition to the event.

With over 7 different catering packages to choose from and a selection of buffet menus, Hog Roast Whitstable has something that is ideal for any kind of event. To book in today, simply let us know your party size, date, and location and we can do the rest.
