One of the things we love about our job as caterers here at Hog Roast Rochester is when we impress a customer so much that they come back to us year after year. Each event we cater we always try to outdo our last and when working with a client for several years we are able to build up a strong rapport and knowledge of what it is they are looking for in terms of catering.
This week Hog Roast Rochester were catering for a long-term customer of ours who was hosting an event at Hartley Country Club just outside of Kent. This was now the third year running that Hog Roast Rochester had been asked to come along and cater at this event and so it is always a pleasure when we get the opportunity to come back and provide food for a client who has enjoyed our food previously. Our client was Kerry who was planning the event and she mentioned when booking that in previous years our slow roasted food was always so well received and enjoyed by their guests that they couldn’t imagine choosing anyone else to cater.
For this year’s event we had our Hog Roast Rochester catering manager Jake organising the food and ensuring all ran smoothly. We had been asked to prepare our classic hog roast along with a veggie option of grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers and would need to provide enough for one hundred guests.
As this event was by now familiar territory for the Hog Roast Rochester team, we were able to quickly get things underway and the food prepared for when the guests arrived. From then on, we worked hard to ensure everyone was well fed and enjoying themselves before discreetly tidying away and packing up the leftovers to be enjoyed by the guests in the following days. We can’t wait to be back again at the Hartley Country Club for our fourth year running!
