Yet another excellent weekend had by the Hog Roast Rye team this past week! This time courtesy of Emma, her new husband, and the incredible Rye Harbour Sailing Club!
It was sun, sailing, sumptuous service with a side of love this past weekend as the Hog Roast Rye team came out to the Rye Harbour Sailing Club to help celebrate a wonderful wedding. As a caterer we are so fortunate to be able to conduct our work in some of the most picturesque and interesting locations all around the country. For us, Rye Harbour Sailing Club is yet another such venue. Looking out onto the river which would lead you all the way out of the UK and into the vast ocean blue is a great way to be able to be able to spend your afternoon. Cooking with a view, we call it at Hog Roast Rye – and what a view this was! Of course, it was second only to our stunning guests and newlyweds! It these parts of the job that make every single event, every single wedding, all the more worth it at Hog Roast Rye.
Determined to match up to our surroundings, catering manager Matt and the Hog Roast Rye team cooked up a splendid hog roast menu for our lucky wedding goers. We may not have got our hog roast out onto a boat to see if pigs could float, but we did get one cooked up and served alongside delicious accompaniments of sage and onion stuffing, golden crackling, apple sauce, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, mixed salad, slaw, and gluten-free rolls for our celiac bride. The 120 guests cook to our dining with delight, many coming back in for extra rolls and as much hog roast as they could pile high. 
That’s all the compliment we typically need from our customers, but many made sure to tell us just how much they enjoyed our dining, as well as our bride Emma who was also effusive in praise and let us know that her friends and family have not stopped talking about it since!
