Jenny is the manager of a leisure centre complex in Kent and employs a team of 70 staff members. Every few months, she hosts a team building day for the staff to attend, and the events have proven very successful in building friendships and helping the staff to work well together. This August, Jenny is organising a sports day for the staff to enjoy, with plenty of mini-games and activities to make the most of the end of summer. Additionally, Hog Roast Kennington has been hired to cater for the occasion. In our experience, nothing brings people together like a great meal, so our catering manager Matt was happy to get involved with this event. We were hired to provide our delicious BBQ menu, which is sure to be a great addition to the day.
On the day of the event, the sun was shining and the Hog Roast Kennington team was eager to get to work. We set up our catering station on one of the football fields and began by barbequing the main dishes, while the staff were busy enjoying all kinds of sporting matches and outdoor games. For the menu, we provided succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, juicy British beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, BBQ spareribs, and halloumi and vegetable skewers. These dishes were served in fresh bread rolls and accompanied by homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and corn cobettes. Overall, our menu was a great addition to the already successful event!
