200 Wedding Guests Enjoying A Delicious Hog Roast

Hog Roast Whitstable is a great choice for all kinds of catering needs both locally and further afield – you’ll be surprised at how much variety we can offer you and your guests. You may also be surprised at where we can cater, too, as our hog roast machines are portable and run on gas so we don’t need mains electric to cook up a storm for you. We’ve catered in all sorts of locations, from the more usual ones such as our customers’ back gardens, hotels, and village halls, to places you wouldn’t expect and just recently, we catered a wedding reception at a livery yard!

For Bianca and Sheldon’s wedding, event planners Your Bar & Grill asked Hog Roast Whitstable to cook and serve the main wedding food at Mount Pleasant Livery, which is on Hoath Rd in the semi-rural village of Hoath itself. Bianca owns the livery stable and the land is a great space for them to have a marquee put up and to have True Blue Ceremonies conduct the wedding ceremony.

With a menu of sumptuous pig rolls to be served to around 200 guests at the evening buffet, we arrived in the daytime to set up the equipment and prepare the meat for its roasting. When we 35972910_2166421240294044_7624303520111394816_nslow-roast a pig for an event, we always use high-quality, locally-sourced meat from trusted suppliers. In fact, we try and source as much of the ingredients as we can locally and we definitely use fresh, quality goods to make tasty dishes that you and your guests will love. From the meat to the vegetables or potatoes that we cook, the salads that we put together or the alternative options that we make for guests with different preferences or dietary needs, you’ll see in the taste that we only use the best.

Hog Roast Whitstable arrived to see a huge classic marquee from Maypole Marquee Ltd and it was stunning inside, with a chequered dancefloor and some lovely furniture. By evening time, there were plenty of guests queuing up for a taste of heaven with our yummy hog roast rolls – meat and crackling stuffed into bread rolls and topped off with apple sauce and stuffing – just divine!
