With summer in full bloom and wedding season full steam ahead, Hog Roast Rochester has been busy helping lots of lovely couples tie the knot lately.
Last weekend, we were privileged to attend the nuptials of Ciara and Noah, who had spent many months gearing up for their traditional wedding, which took place at a Georgian manor house close by.
When it comes to traditional weddings, it’s hard to beat the setting of a Georgian Manor House. With its historical grandeur and elegance, a Georgian Manor House provides the perfect backdrop to say “I do.” And with plenty of bedrooms to accommodate Ciara and Noah’s most important guests for the night, this particular venue was perfect for the weekend-long celebrations the couple had organised.
Hog Roast Rochester was brought in to provide the food for both days of this splendid occasion, and we didn’t disappoint! Since we are renowned for providing a unique culinary experience that combines traditional flavours with modern twists, our experienced catering manager, Matt, rustled up our famous hog roast with all the trimmings, which the guests went wild for!
But we didn’t stop there. Matching the opulent tone of the venue, we also offered a range of veggie/vegan options, a choice of canapés and finger food, hearty salads, beautiful desserts and a drinks service. To finish, Hog Roast Rochester sliced and dressed the couple’s wedding cake in fresh cream and berries before serving it to the guests.
As the newlyweds and their guests partied the night away, Hog Roast Rochester discreetly tidied away all of the mess left behind from the feast before heading back to HQ. The following morning, they returned to the venue bright and early to prepare a brunch buffet of gourmet sausages, beef burgers, chicken kebabs, meaty spareribs, vegetarian burgers and plant-based sausages for the guests.
Waking up to the gorgeous smell of cooked meats and freshly made chips was just what the doctor ordered after a late night of partying and dancing. Once again, the guests fully appreciated Hog Roast Rochester’s range of tasty foods on offer, which set them up for the day ahead.
