At Hog Roast Sandwich, we have a menu that is ideal for this occasion and is bound to go down a treat!
This New year’s Day, Hog Roast Sandwich was hired by the Johnson family to provide catering for their annual family meal. The Johnsons have extended family living across England, so it is difficult to find time to gather together and make memories. Since New Year’s Day is a bank holiday, the family aim to meet every year and enjoy a delicious meal together. This year, Hog Roast Sandwich was hired to cater for the event to allow all of the family to make the most of the day. For the menu, our team was hired to provide a classic hog roast and dessert course served formally on bamboo crockery.
In preparation for this event, our team planned to serve a classic hog roast, accompanied by a variety of delicious trimmings, including sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. As well as the main dish, we will also be providing roasted baby potatoes, a selection of seasonal vegetables, and homemade gravy. Overall, this will create a delicious and hearty main meal, with more than enough to go around.
Following the main course, we will then be serving profiteroles and sticky toffee pudding, accompanied by English cream and fresh berries. The dishes will be elegantly plated and are bound to taste as good as they look. The Hog Roast Sandwich team are looking forward to catering for this event and to starting 2023 right!
