Simon turned 50 earlier this year and was surprised with a birthday party by his wife. The party was a great celebration with over 100 guests, including all of Simon’s close friends and family. As well as a great guest list, the party also had a DJ, a dance floor, and great catering provided by Hog Roast Sturry. Our catering manager Matt was asked to provide a tasty menu for the event and, after discussing the menus that we have to offer, it was decided that our Gourmet BBQ would be the ideal choice.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Sturry team arrived to prepare the menu in time for the 19:00 mealtime. We began by preparing the main menu, including succulent sausages, British beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, vegetable and halloumi skewers, and BBQ grilled spareribs. Alongside the main dishes, we also served fresh bread rolls, seasonal salad dishes, homemade chips, sweet potato fries, and crunchy coleslaw. This menu was served buffet style on bamboo crockery and cutlery, which was the ideal level of formality for the event.
Hog Roast Sturry’s BBQ menu went down a treat with the guests since it includes so many different dishes for the guests to choose from. This makes it ideal for large events and family parties since there is a dish for everyone to enjoy. This party was lots of fun for everyone and our team loved being part of Simon’s 50th birthday celebrations!
