Here at Hog Roast Ashford, we are certainly no strangers to wedding catering and thanks to our wide range of elegant wedding menus, we are a very popular choice for couples in the local area who are looking for some superior food to celebrate tying the knot. The latest happy couple we catered for hired us to provide a fabulous wedding buffet feast for them and their 80 guests at Egerton Millennium Hall and it was a great day for everyone who was involved!
They chose us because of our ability to provide memorable food and freshly prepare every part of their menu at their venue on the day. They opted for two different slow-roasted meats, with succulent sirloin of beef to accompany our classic hog roast, all served with a range of different side dishes, including seasonal veg, pasta salad, coleslaw, mac and cheese and an equal mixture of jacket wedges and buttery new potatoes, along with veggie skewers for the guests who didn’t eat meat. With enough variety to suit everyone’s tastes, the wedding party was certainly in for a treat!
Our wedding catering maestros Kieran and Isabelle were in charge of the catering for the day and they couldn’t wait to get their sleeves rolled up and start preparing the wedding feast! After spending several hours making all of the elements of the menu from scratch using the finest selection of locally sourced produce available, the Hog Roast Ashford team, led by Catering Manager Jake, were ready to welcome the guests with a sociable antipasti sharing platter served on the tables. With everyone happily chatting and tucking in, we put the finishing touches to the rest of the meal, which was all served on real crockery for a more formal feel.
The main course and wide choice of side dishes went down very well with the guests, and no one thought they had any room left for dessert, that was until they saw our attractively presented individual lemon tarts and profiteroles!
It was a lovely reception in a great venue and the Hog Roast Ashford team were glad everyone thoroughly enjoyed our culinary contribution to the celebration!
