Hog Roast Tonbridge recently had a great time catering at Alsford Timber’s summer fete at their brand new Tonbridge branch, which is even bigger than before. Alsford Timber is the largest independent timber merchant in the southeast and they are experts in providing timber, tools, building materials, and fixing products for their customers. The grand opening of the branch was on the 8th of June and Alsford Timber pulled out all the stops to give their customers old and new a fun, free day for all the family.
As well as offering their customers a free hog roast, Alsford Timber would also be providing free drinks, free car washes, free games to enjoy such as a coconut shy, hook a duck, cork shoot, and even a free penalty shoot-out competition with Tonbridge Angels, our local football club! Plus there would also be a fire engine from Kent Fire and Rescue Service – again, a free part of the fete. As an extra bonus, the company was offering 10% off orders over £100 on the day and a free prize draw. What an amazing day, with lots to do for all ages and all for free. 
James from Alsford Timber booked our Hog Roast Tonbridge team to provide a hog roast at the fete, in order for us to make our famous pigs in buns, as well as additional options of sausages and veggie skewers. No matter the type of corporate or private party or event that you’re organising, we have plenty of choices to impress your guests or customers, and that includes catering for special diets such as gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan. Alsford Timber’s customers were really being treated with various, free options on this day!
At the grand opening, Hog Roast Tonbridge arrived bright and early as it takes several hours to roast a hog from scratch. Some time later and the hog was resting, the sausages were sizzling and the veggie skewers were ready to be devoured too. After serving our lovely food in a two-hour window, it was great to see the kids enjoying the fire engine and everyone having fun with the free games. The summer fete was clearly a huge success!
