Its cold in Kent today as temperatures dip well below freezing so the whole team is wrapped up warm and we are about to celebrate our very own Christmas get together. Our busy season is about to begin so before we are rushed off our feet without a moment to ourselves we are holding our own early Christmas party.
We have had such a busy year so it will be great to just have an evening together and have a good old catch up. They will be Christmas classics CD playing loudly, crackers, party hats and we will be giving out our secret Santa gifts. The party will be in full swing whilst we do our two favourite things; cook a hog roast and eat a hog roast! Yes that’s right we never get sick of the sight of a good old hog roast so that we will be enjoying as we celebrate a successful 2010 and look forward to 2011. We might even have a few cheeky beers to wash down the wonderful pig sandwiches!
Not too many though as we have an early start tomorrow as we are travelling to Ashford to provide some Christmas style catering at a food fair in the market town of Ashford. Visitors to the fair will have the chance to sample our gorgeous spit roasted turkeys on a fresh floured bread roll with homemade Cranberry sauce and stuffing. We are expecting to feed over 200 people so it will be a very busy day.
