While most may figure that event catering is reserved for the big and special occasions at the weekend, the truth about any event caterer’s calendar is that it is predominantly made up of smaller lunches and events with businesses and corporate partners in the midweek. Very few special occasions like weddings and anniversaries are happening in the midweek days – these are typically reserved for the weekend – so during this time a caterer like Hog Roast Hythe has to find its trade elsewhere.

Our corporate catering service takes us out to all kinds of unique sites with a range of different client types. One extremely exciting one that we would like to tell you about from last week is the fine folks at Landmarc Support Service Ltd. A name that you might not be all too aware of, but one that those in the military almost certainly will as they provide safe training solutions to our Armed Forces all around the world. Their work quite literally bolsters the UK defence – sounds like hungry work, don’t you think?
Fortunately there’s a solution that we have for that at Hog Roast Hythe, and this week it came in the form of a stylishly presented gourmet barbecue for the staff at Westdown Camp. With 75 guests to feed, our barbecue allowed for a flexible dining option that would easily allow everyone to get a good few bites to eat. We had a fresh range of gourmet burgers, sausages, meaty BBQ marinated ribs, and veggie burgers and sausages to throw onto the grill as and when guests needed them. This way food was always hot and fresh and ensured more than enough for everyone to grab seconds if they wished. Plates were also piled high with our refreshing Greek salad, gourmet slaw, and fresh sweet and regular potato fries.
