Our catering is always here to celebrate the big moments in life, and there are few moments bigger than your 50th birthday. A milestone marker in life, it’s only right to make your 50th celebrations as big as possible – and big as possible means inviting the Hog Roast Ashford team to bring you our signature stylish catering!
It’s not just us saying it, though. The proof is in the pudding as last weekend the Hog Roast Ashford joined an excellent 50th party with 40 guests to feed. True to our word in making any 50th the biggest and best it can be, our catering manager Jason made sure to pull out all the stops with our catering service for this one. That meant a feast to remember for all 40 guests, which of course included our namesake hog roast along with many fresh dishes served in an excellent buffet style so that the party could keep on going with minimal interruption.
As with many events, on the day we had our hog roast firing up very early in the morning. With a 2pm serving team the Hog Roast Ashford chefs make sure to get into the kitchen nice and early to get the prep going right away. The worst thing possible for our catering is to leave guests waiting too long for their lunch, especially when waiting means seeing our hog roast continuing to cook away – the sight of which gets yours mouth watering and your stomach going. That’s fine to build some anticipation for the main event, but you don’t want it to become too much of a tease when they have to then wait for a sustained amount of time.
But that wasn’t to be the case for this party. Our hog roast came packed into our mobile roasting machines, near ready to go once just a few more dishes were prepped and cooked on site. Because what’s a hog roast feast without its accompanying sage and onion stuffing, crackling, fresh slaw, tomato and mozzarella salad, freshly made chips (both sweet and regular), and our grilled veg and halloumi skewers as a veggie alternative. More than enough for some fun-filled 50th celebrations to go long into the night, we reckon!
