Who Needs the Sun For a Barbecue? Not Hog Roast Chatham

Hog Roast ChathamThe summer hasn’t quite got off to the start that any of us were expecting. Cold, wet, grey and fairly miserable each day – it’s not been the June that the sunny skies through all of May had promised us. But that doesn’t mean the barbecue season isn’t still a go, because at Hog Roast Chatham we are ready to keep the grill sizzling, even if the sun won’t make an appearance at your events this June.

We all wait for the summer because it is when we can finally get the barbecue out and start making delicious burgers and sausages in the sun. It’s the best part of any British summer, but when the sun doesn’t come out we have to put our barbecue plans on hold. Or do we?

Hog Roast ChathamAt Hog Roast Chatham we always come prepared for the weather – rain, wind, snow, or sun! We’re not about to let a damper June beginning put a close on our barbecue plans; we’re determined to get this summer up and running, and that means putting on your barbecues regardless of some grey skies. Whenever we come out to an event we always have our serving gazebos ready. This allows our chefs to cook without having the sun constantly beating down on them or our foods – important for freshness and taste. It also keeps the rain from tampering with our barbecue and our roaster, and again keeps our foods dry, too.

This means that even with this damper June start your Hog Roast Chatham team have been able to keep the barbecue going for events. We’re used to the British weather and we’re not about to be beaten by it anytime soon. As long as we can keep our foods and guests dry during serving then the barbecue show must go on! Gourmet burgers, sausages, skewers, ribs, kebabs, rolls and wraps – it’s summer dining even if it isn’t quite going to be summer weather just yet. In time, the weather will see what we’re doing at Hog Roast Chatham and eventually catch up to our summer of barbecues and great events!
