We can all agree that 2020 was a bit of a weird year. Is that the understatement of the century? Undoubtedly! But thankfully, things seem to be looking up for 2021. And, with a more hopeful future ahead, Hog Roast Bladbean is looking forward to getting back into the field for lots more of what are sure to be monumental events. Weddings, birthday parties and baby showers galore – even just thinking about all the fun to be had has got us buzzing!
For now, though, we’re still focused on swapping those wild nights out for cosy nights in…but who said staying home had to be boring? Certainly not us! And with our Gourmet Delivery Service ready and waiting to see you through all of life’s special moments, you’ll never have to forfeit your celebrations again.
Since first introducing this service in the throws of last year’s chaos, our customers and clients have been lapping it up; with no excuse being too small for a Hog Roast Bladbean drop off. Ranging from chilled evenings in front of the telly, to household-only parties in honour of those milestone celebrations, our team have been privileged by our continued inclusion in an all-manner of atypical events.
While we’re on the topic of unusual events, last Thursday, our team had the pleasure of delivering a super tasty meal to a family who was preparing to celebrate the New Year. As Orthodox Christian’s, Simon, Claire and their children follow the more traditional Julian calendar, meaning they observe the New Year on the 14th of January, and since the most popular way to celebrate the turn of the year is with a lavish feast, they had gotten in touch with Hog Roast Bladbean to book one of our stunning spreads.
Featuring soft, melt-in-the-mouth carvings of juicy pulled pork, beautifully-textured crackling, crusty gluten-free bread rolls and a selection of flavourful condiments, our classic hog roast menu proved to be the perfect choice for the occasion; which went down swimmingly with the entire family. As an added festive treat, the team had also included our picture-perfect dessert waffles with heaps of fluffy cream and chocolate chips, which the children were over the moon about!
