Here we are doing a hog roast in Maidstone Rugby club. The weather was a bit tricky when we arrived and we had to set up in the rain. We where at the doing a hog roast at Maidstone Rugby Club for Ian Willinsons 50th Birthday party and it promised to be a really good party. Arriving with loads of time to spare (11am) our food service of Maidstone hog roast with new potatoes and four salads at 8.30pm means a relaxed day with my second chef Steven and I doing this job here is a picture of our happy orchard free range pig (the mark of our award winning fruit fed pig) being prepared for roasting. The birthday party is going to be attended by the Maidstone vets Side and it looks like I might come out retirement in the next few weeks to play again.
The birthday is interesting in that the player and birthday man is not having any presents. All friends and relatives have been asked instead of buying presents to make a donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. What a great idea. Well the party really went with a swing and people had a wonderful time.
