50th Birthday Party Celebrations

Kent + Essex - saladWhen Hog Roast Bromley caters your party or event, you can be sure of tasty food cooked by professionals who love what they do. We’ve catered many a wedding, engagement, anniversary, christening, corporate function and so much more and we’re always asked to cater birthday parties too.

Our customer Julia booked us in for a 50th birthday party at a residential address in Sidcup, and the house was actually a beautiful Edwardian cottage. She asked us for our Hog Roast Bromley Private Party Menu 3 for 50 people, and this menu features one of our sumptuous, mouth-watering, slowly roasted hogs, served with a selection of fresh salads and new potatoes, and is a fabulous way to enjoy an informal meal. We prepare and cook the hog from fresh at your venue, and serve hot with our own homemade apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing, as well as plenty of crispy crackling, carved straight off the pig. We also bring along floury bread rolls and wraps, and a selection of condiments, as many of our customers and their guests love to make pigs in buns out of the hog.

For this party, Julia also asked for additional sausages and veggie skewers, as well as sweet potato wedges instead of the new potatoes. We are very flexible when it comes to catering, as we know that this and offering variety are both key and are two of the main reasons why we have so much repeat custom. We offer plenty of options for guests on special diets, such as vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free, and encourage our customers to mix and match items between menus, or even to create the menu of their dreams.

Kent + Essex - salad2 Our Hog Roast Bromley team arrived at the lovely house hours before we would be serving the food, as it takes a few hours to prepare and roast the hog. Hours later and the hog was resting before we carved. Food presentation is important to us, so we lovingly prepared attractive salads, including a tasty mozzarella and tomato one, decorated the serving tables with fresh herbs and carefully arranged the sauces and then it was finally time to serve.
